Realistically that shouldn’t be a problem most of the time, since there’s a clock on the microwave and we use the front burners more. But there’s no getting around that it’s in the way, and I don’t know that there’s an alternative with an over the range microwave that doesn’t sacrifice exhaust ability.

  Love, Love, Love the Microvisor retractable hood! We bought new cabinets and wanted the convenience of the microwave above the stove. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the microwave’s fan wasn’t powerful enough. Researching further, you’ll never find a microwave that’s as powerful as a hood fan. So I had two options -1. Replace the new microwave with a hood or 2. Deal with moisture/grease and wipe down cabinets every.singly.time. Fortunately, Microvisor found a solution! Thank you Microvisor!
