MICROVISOR® Microwave Range Hood System

Without Microvisor Mini Hood SystemMICROVISOR® is a state of the art mini hood designed to attach to a "microwave over the range" and improve the exhaust function of the microwave. It was developed by an accomplished chef who was a successful owner operator of three  restaurants in New Jersey for 25 years.

The design and intended use of the “microwave over the range” was to utilize cabinet space by incorporating an exhaust system/secondary heating source, and installing it in place of a more expensive exhaust hood.  Since the microwave over the range is normally about 15” deep, and all cook-tops and ranges are a minimum of 24” deep, it is virtually impossible to effectively exhaust the fumes from cooking on the front burners.

The MICROVISOR® mini hood is 29 7/8″ wide, 1″ high at the front and 1 1/2″ high at the back of the mini hood. It is 8 1/2″ deep (front to back) and when inserted into the bracket it projects forward of the microwave oven by 6 1/2″ in order to capture the smoke, grease and odors. The bracket is a 2″ deep (front to back) patented ″C″ clip design that attaches in less than two minutes. The MICROVISOR® mini hood is simply inserted into the bracket and removed by simply pulling it out.

After two years of designing and manufacturing prototypes of the microwave range hood, the MICROVISOR® has been perfected and refined to its present form.  It has been proven to capture 90% of the cooking fumes and odors produced while cooking on the front burners of a cook-top or stove.  It prevents the smoke, grease and odors from mixing with the air in your home and from accumulating on the furniture and cabinets.  In addition, it has been proven that fumes from cooking oils that escape into the air of your home are harmful to your health.  In addition everyone that has a MICROVISOR® microwave range hood in their home says that it enhances and completes the look of their microwave over the range.  The MICROVISOR® Hood is removable, easy to store and no electrical components are necessary.
